Don’t let our resident Matron of Packaging fool you. Those sweet smiles and kind words belie her famous “machine” abilities in packaging, performing 12 tasks at once and doing all them with style. She credits Paul for providing the entertainment in the workplace. With a little help, she said she’s hoping to pull off the crowning achievement of practical jokes — to totally and completely shrink wrap Paul’s truck. And if Paul could be in the truck at the time it would be even better. She spends her weekends camping with her family. Campsites around the East Kootenays have a lingering aroma of Z-Wrangler and Carolines, from all of Jo’s visits.

As our Material Handler, Home Hardware’s loss is Kicking Horse Coffee’s gain. When not burning around in the back on our growing fleet of fork trucks, single-handedly unloading green beans and loading trucks with finished product, Big Joe, our king of the warehouse has the mind of a futurist and tactician, trying to figure where to put stuff in our ever shrinking warehouse space. His current project is a life size model of the Twin Towers constructed only of 6 pack boxes, plastic shrink wrap and empty burlap bags.
